WHAT IF 10-HOURS OF FINANCIAL EDUCATION COULD POTENTIALLY SAVE YOU AS MUCH AS $500K IN FEES ON YOUR 401K? OR $2K IN TAXES EACH YEAR? OR HELP YOU RETIRE 5 YEARS EARLIER?
Mission & Goals
Our mission is to demystify personal finance so you can take charge of your financial future. When talking to women about their financial to-do lists, they say that time and knowledge are the biggest barriers to getting started. To address both obstacles, we offer courses and content tailored to high-earning professional women.
Unlike some speaker events or online courses, Her Personal Finance aims not only to educate and inspire but to demand action. Our goal is that when you work with us you will make real, quantifiable improvements to your financial health. But that’s just the beginning. By leveraging the power of existing women’s networks, we hope to close the gender gap and help women feel more comfortable earning and investing more.
Incredibly helpful and approachable
Sarah, Harvard Business School student
“Cannot thank you enough for coming to Harvard Business School today for Her Personal Finance. It was such an incredibly helpful and approachable way to tackle some of the most taboo and confusing topics out there. I have spent a ton of time trying to google a lot of these topics and was overwhelmed by how much info is out there, so I have many times given up on understanding it. It is such an important mission, for many reasons, and I couldn't stop thinking about how if we as extremely privileged, highly educated HBS grads do not understand these fundamentals, what does that mean for the general population. The work you’re doing to increase transparency and help people understand their wealth and find financial freedom to be able to say "f you" is really admirable.”
"I found this course to be incredibly empowering! I started the course with little knowledge about personal finance and have come away with very practical skills on how to manage my money and plan for the future. The course material was relevant with just the right amount of breadth, depth, and detail to make actionable and informed decisions on topics like budgeting and planning for retirement. I also thought the weekly sessions over Zoom fostered an incredibly supportive community of thoughtful women each sharing how they have navigated critical life decisions such as home-ownership, starting a family, or starting a new job. Eryn was also very accessible over email and provided in-depth and personalized answers to my questions. I'm very glad that I took this course and will be putting her lessons to good use for years to come!"
