About Our Founder

Eryn Schultz became passionate about helping Americans achieve their financial goals while working on her MBA.  She realized that she and her fellow Harvard Business School classmates were learning how to manage a corporate balance sheet but not their own finances.  In addition, the financial services industry often ignores people in their 20s and 30s since they do not have a lot of wealth for advisors to manage.  However, your 20s and 30s are when many big life decisions happen.  Eryn started Her Personal Finance to help other high-earning women take charge of their financial futures.

After completing her MBA, Eryn pursued a Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Texas to continue her financial education.  Over four hundred students from places like Google, Accenture, and Michigan's Ross Business School have graduated from Eryn's live money bootcamp.  In addition, her work has been featured in a number of national publications including NPR, CNBC, and Real Simple.  You can see more press about Eryn here.

Eryn passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ exam in 2022, and will complete the robust experience requirements to use the marks in 2023.

Eryn is taking her experience in strategy, sales and operations and applying it to America's financial crisis.  Outside of work, she's taking her infant son, husband, and standard poodle on outdoor adventures.
