Company Description
Her Personal Finance is a start-up focused on making financial education cheaper and easier. Why can you graduate with $100K in student loans but no formal teaching on how to manage your money? With a focus on women with MBAs, MDs, and other grad degrees, we create financial education that is specific to higher earners and those with considerable student loans.
Since we launched our first online course in March 2020, we have had approximately 150 women go through our curriculum. Our growth has come primarily through word of mouth and organic traffic. In April 2021, we launched a pilot version of our class with physicians and fellows at Mass General Hospital, and we have had the opportunity to speak to women at Ross Business School, Kellogg Business School, Harvard Business School, Amazon, and Schlumberger in the past 6 months. We are a high-growth startup looking for someone to help us scale and build out our systems and processes.
Our founder is a Harvard Business School graduate with 12-years of experience in management consultant, retail operations, and venture-backed companies. She has previously managed large teams, and is passionate about growing and providing opportunities for the people she works with.
The women we work with are often first-generation Americans or first-generation wealth builders who cannot rely on their families for financial advice. We value hires who can relate to and understand the diverse experiences of our customers.

- This position is competitively paid at $15-$18 / hour and will start at 15 hours per week.
- There will be an opportunity to increase from 15 to 20-30 hours / week after 4-12 weeks with the potential for this to become a full-time role in 6 to 12 months.
- This is a remote role and is open to candidates across the United States. However, preference will be given to candidates in Houston, Austin or San Antonio to facilitate in-person collaboration when COVID restrictions ease.
Interview Process & Expectations
We are looking for a candidate who can begin in mid-May. You can expect 2-3 rounds of interviews including an initial phone screen. Subsequent interviews will require a work sample including but not limited to drafting sample social media posts and / or blog posts.
