“I’m feeling really good about my financial plan (created during your class of course)! I created a budget and I’m sticking to it which is really satisfying, with automatic transfers to an emergency savings account, maxing out my 401K and most importantly - HAVE A PLAN FOR MY CREDIT CARD DEBT :)”

Increased My 401K Contribution

PhD Grad in biotech

"I increased my 401k contribution (of course!) I also switched from a traditional to a Roth. In the past I didn't know the difference but assumed a Roth was a fancy type of 401k for people who made way more money than me. Turns out, it's probably a better choice for my future financial needs now that I actually understand what it is!"

"Lastly, I just want to say thank you! I'm absolutely blown away by your course. I'm a bit behind in it but even the first two modules have me thinking about finances, and more importantly, what my goals are in life outside of my career. I've been so busy thinking about getting into business school but really haven't thought about my personal goals post-MBA. This course is exactly what I needed to be more confident in how I'm budgeting and saving, so thank you!

What Makes This Class Different

Investing just 3-4% more of a typical post-MBA salary (~$6K / year) in an IRA or 401K over the next 30 years could translate to $566.8K more in retirement. The most common action taken during class is increasing your retirement savings. While 3-4% adds up over time, most individuals will barely notice the difference in their paycheck today. This level of change alone recoups the class fee many times over.

What Our Students Are Saying

wonderful job of breaking down complex financial concepts

Erin Gums, MBA, Brand Manager at EA

“Can't recommend the 10-week money boot camp enough! Eryn does a wonderful job of breaking down complex financial concepts, making them easy to understand and fun to learn. With the knowledge I've gained, I found savings in my budget and put more money towards my retirement-- more than covering the cost of the course!”

This class is NOT for:

  • Anyone not planning to live in the US for at least 2-3 years
  • People uncomfortable using Excel to do basic calculations
  • Entrepreneurs and others without a 401K or other retirement account through work

Frequently asked questions

What do most women in class achieve? What's the return on my time?

In post class surveys, 75% of women who complete the class take SOME action.   While what you will achieve will vary based on your personal experience, most women trim spending (that subscription you haven't used in 6 months? gone!), increase their 401K savings, transfer cash from their bank accounts to an investing account so it can start growing, and make a plan to pay off debt (student loan, credit card or mortgage) faster. Even a small change in behavior (saving 4% more of a typical post-MBA salary), can lead to large savings later in life. For example, investing ~$6K / year more in an IRA or 401K over the next 30 years could translate to $566.8K more in retirement. When you compare that to the course fee, class more than pays for itself.

What's the time commitment?

The class recordings are generally 40-50 minutes with about 1-3 hours / homework each week (some weeks have minimal homework and others have more).

The "on-demand" version of the class can be taken at your own pace.  If you want to watch all the videos in one week, go for it, but note that the class was designed to be taken a little more slowly to give you time to take action.

What's included?

On-Demand Class: 6-hours of recorded classes, worksheets, and one Excel workbook including 7 weeks of exercises.  Excel templates range from a Roth vs Traditional tax calculator to a spreadsheet to help you calculate how much you should keep in cash.

How much does class cost?

The on-demand class costs $250 for 7-weeks of content.  This breaks down to only $36 / class.  If you would invest this in a workout class or a nice dinner out, why wouldn't you show your financial life the same love?  We promise this class will have a higher ROI!  Plus, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy and you completed at least two of the modules, we will give you your money back.

What are class materials like?

Look at our free resource and the class pre-work here.  Your Money Story will help you identify your financial goals.  While all other courses in our class are Excel-based, we always ask that our students start by thinking about where they want to go and how money can help them get there.
